BEA Integration completed

On 1st December 2008, Oracle finalised the integration of BEA systems across the Europe Middle East and Africa region.

This acquisition helps to make us a more strategic to our partners and customers. The combination of Oracle and BEA Systems brings together the leading product development experts in open-standards technology, provides a larger global footprint of sales and services professionals to address customer needs, and provides a larger network of partners to deliver solutions using application infrastructure technology.

Together, Oracle and BEA Systems provide a complementary best-in-class middleware portfolio that spans Java Application Servers, transaction processing monitors, SOA and business process management, user interaction and Web 2.0, identity management, business intelligence, enterprise content management and vertical-specific technologies. Our partners can expect to benefit from a stronger, more scalable software vendor. With the combined solutions, partners can focus their investment and build one strong middleware practice

As our Q2 FY09 numbers proof Oracle is the key player! Charles Philips “all the product in Fusion Middleware grow very strong, we do have 18.000 (OFM) customers”

We welcome our new partners from BEA Systems into the Oracle Partner Network and would like to invite them to join the SOA Partner Community: please visit www.oracle.com/goto/emea/soa (OPN account required)
