This session is going focus around learning new products and innovating in a true “hackathon” style scenario. You may be a PaaS developer who wants to learn more about integrating with SaaS, or a SaaS Architect who wants to learn more about building a PaaS extension. Meet in the middle at this hackathon extreme stream.
Our Agenda will comprise of 2 days of quick intro training, mainly presentations and discussions on the various Oracle PaaS and SaaS Services. The topics will range from a quick intro to Integration with OIC Integration, Extending processes with Process Cloud, deploying code to an application container cloud and then finally exploring various SaaS APIs. Each Service will have a 1-2hr “quickstart” where you will learn the basics of developing, and deploying, with that service and understanding the SaaS APIs. We will give you tutorials for each of the services we discuss for you to complete at your own pace.
Then comes the fun part. We will then give you two days in “HackAThon” style. You will split into teams and come up with a PaaS4SaaS Scenario using some, or all, of the services we discussed in the previous two days. The rest of the time you will spend building a solution. On hand will be experts from the ATeam, Product Mgmt and your colleagues in your team . At the end of the final day we will have a presentation and vote on the solution.
