All training sessions will be from HQ product management. The sessions will take place from June 20th until June 24th 2011 Lisbon – Portugal 2011. Participation is limited to two people per company. Registration is handled by first come first serve, please pay attention to the skill requirements, the pre-requisitions and the follow up! We will not accept people onto the training who do not match the criteria!

Dear SOA Partner Community,

May is the last month of the Oracle Fiscal Year – therefore it is key that we close all our important joint opportunities. If you need any support e.g. a call with our product management or our sales leadership, please make sure that you contact your local partner manager.

To give you a kick-start in the new fiscal year FY12 we’re planning our famous advanced summer camp training sessions for advanced ADF, BPM and WebCenter. The training sessions are only for Specialized partners who are working on projects.

To continue our road to Specialization we’ve launched the ADF Certification. If you are Specialized you should submit your nomination for the 2011 EMEA OPN Partner Specializations Awards and the Fusion Middleware Innovation Awards 2011!

We’ve just launched a new product – Enterprise Gateway, new versions of JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 (PS4) and WebLogic Server 10.3.5, and the overview Fusion Middleware 10.3.5. For the Java Community java.net is online!

During the panel “Measuring the Business Value of Service-Orientation” Paul Brown, Jean-Paul De Baets, Filippos Santas, Jürgen Kress, had a great discussion how SOA architecture impacts business. SOA project have to prove the business value. Business value patterns could be process automation, process visibility and process agility. The Case for Total Architecture presentation from Paul Brown is a great abstract to show the value of architecture.

Thank you for a great turnout of over 200 people at our SOA & E2.0 Partner Community Forum 2011, and special thanks also to our ACE Directors and Speakers – you are the Community! If you could not attend the forum please make sure you visit our follow-up website with the presentations and the conference program!

2011 EMEA OPN Partner Specializations Awards are open for Your SOA & BPM nominations!

With these awards we recognize the partners who have specialized their business with Oracle and who are delivering real customer value.

For all the partners who achieved SOA Specialization please make sure that you submit your Specialization Award Nomination! Like last year we the SOA Partner Community want to win all the EMEA and Global awards!

Partners from EMEA who have achieved one or more specializations in OPN are eligible to submit nominations to become an EMEA Partner of the Year for 2011. Make sure you apply for the Middleware Partner of the Year category
