An excellent sample or the use cases to automate e-mail driven processes with PCS and Document Cloud Service. Oracle Partners can purchase PaaS Cloud Services with a discount up to 75%.

SOA & BPM Community Newsletter November 2016

Dear SOA & BPM Partner Community,

On our journey towards the cloud it is key to present a roadmap for our on-premises customers. As a first step the upgrade to the latest Fusion Middleware 12c release ensures a smooth journey. Customers benefit also from new functionalities e.g managed file transfer in the latest releases of SOA Suite 12c and BPM Suite 12c. Make use of the integration success workshop (community membership required) material to demonstrate your customers the advantages. The latest release of Fusion Middleware 12.2.1.2. shows the continues improvements. In a second step customers can extend their integration platform for cloud integration. Cloud adapters can be deployed on premises or in the cloud. Workloads can be shifted to SOA Cloud Services, new process can be built in Process Cloud Service. Regular updates of the cloud services e.g. SOA Cloud Service 16.4.1 introduce new functionality. Get the latest update on the Oracle SOA Suite and BPM Suite on-premises roadmap and cloud transformation by Vikas Anand in the Community Webcast on November 29th 2016.

With Process Cloud Service new processes can be quickly build and deployed in the cloud. The customer has the choice to run the same process on premises on BPM Suite 12c. In case you have been not able to attend the conference in San Francisco you can get the latest PaaS update in the on-demand webcast with Ed Zou here. Make sure you read the excellent blog articles from ACE’s and PaaS experts or watch the OpenWorld on-demand keynotes videos. At our community workspace (membership required) we published the Integration and Process Cloud Service presentations from the conference. We would like to encourage you to use this material to update your customer base. Use the Oracle marketing services to promote your customer events and feel free to host them at the Oracle customer visitor centers across EMEA. Congratulations to the eProseed team to receive the Global Innovation Award for their cloud integration at CIMA.

To start your Journey to the Oracle Cloud, we would like to invite you to align with the Oracle Direct – Digital sales Team. Workshops are hosted in Malaga Spain October 18th & 19th 2016 and Amsterdam Netherlands October 26th & 27th 2016.

As part of this journey it’s key that you become trained in Oracle PaaS. The PaaS Summer Camps training material in Lisbon is available via our community workspaces. Feel free to use this material to train your teams, develop service offerings for the cloud marketplace and to host cloud discovery workshops for your customer base.

Thanks for attending the PaaS Summer Camps and the Virtual Summer Camps 2016. Get trained on the latest PaaS and Middleware sales plays to increase your service and reselling business. For an overview watch the PaaS & Middleware Sales Kits for Oracle Partners – grow our joint business! on-demand webcast.Sales plays for three categories: SOA and BPM and PaaS for SaaS are available at the SOA Community Workspace (membership required): Cloud and On-Prem Integration: Extend SOA to the Cloud and Cloud and On-Prem Integration: Integrate CRM SaaS Apps with On-Premises ERP and Integrate HCM Cloud with on-premises ERP and Digital Engagement and App Development and Deployment in the Cloud: SaaS Extensions and Cloud and On-Prem Integration: Integrate CRM SaaS Apps with On-Premises ERP. All sales kits contain material to prepare, attract, engage, present and demo PaaS and Middleware solutions. Especially I would like to highlight the cheat sheets. This one page overview contains key information to position the cloud services at our joint customers. Get this sales kits, adopt them with your service offerings and references, and forward them to your sales and marketing teams.

A great example of a PaaS showcase is the integrated cloud demo for air pollution control from S&P. Make sure that you promote your services and application in the Solutions Catalog and Cloud Marketplace. Let us know in case you have similar plans! Another highlight is the Red Summer School by Link Consulting. Four student teams got hands-on trained on the PaaS solutions.

One of the next cloud services to become available is API Cloud Platform Services. Watch the video why API Management matters and attend the community webcast to get an API Cloud Platform introduction by Robert Wunderlich on August 30th 2016. SOA & BPM Community Newsletter April 2016

Dear SOA & BPM Partner Community,

Thanks for the excellent 22nd Fusion Middleware & PaaS Partner Community Forum 2016. Most presentations and workshop material are posted at our community workspace here (membership required). We would like to ask everybody to get familiar with this this latest new material which we published during the conference. It’s also an excellent opportunity to update your customer base with this information. Like every year one of the highlights was the ACEs demo. Lucas Jellema and team published the code of the PaaS live hacking at GitHub here and as part of the community we offer free PaaS trail services here. During the conference we announced also our annual community award winners. Thanks to all partners for your excellent contribution and congratulations to the winners! PaaS was one of the focus areas of this year’s conference, many services are now updated on a monthly base and customer utilization is growing rapid thanks to your service offerings. Also for the Fusion Middleware new solutions got announced during the community forum. The SOA team introduced Real-Time Integration Business Insight for SOA Suite 12c including a live demo by Lucas Jellema and the installation details from Roland Carrasco.

The April release for Integration Cloud Service offers many new features including orchestration. SOA & BPM Community Newsletter March 2016

Dear SOA & BPM Partner Community

We are looking forward to welcome many of you at the upcoming Fusion Middleware & PaaS Partner Community Forum XXII in Valencia Marc 15th & 16th 2016. The conference &Oracle Open World and the Summer Camps are part of the annual community highlights. It’s exciting to see the community to get together full of energy and to develop new ideas. We opened the conference registration 100 days in advance, after 50 days the conference was sold out! Special thanks to our sponsor Intel to allow us to host additional attendees – thank you! The conference will be focused on new middleware solutions and PaaS cloud services. In case you can’t make it to Valencia you will be able to access all presentation at the community workspace. Additional we plan to livestream some presentations via Periscope – follow soaCommunity and publish videos at our YouTube channel. In case you will attend the conference get prepared – get the mobile event app, use you PaaS trail service and network at the conference. SOA & BPM Community Newsletter February 2016

Dear SOA & BPM Partner Community

Thanks for the huge interest in the Fusion Middleware & PaaS Partner Community Forum 2016! With more than 225 registrations and 180 confirmed attendees the conference is booked out! We are in process to try to get additional budget to host more attendees. In case you want to attend please register online here. The conference always have been booked out. This time it sold out in record time, we opened the registration 100 days in advance and in less than 50 days before the conference there is no seat available. This proofs the interest in Oracle Middleware & PaaS is huge and our community is stronger & more active than ever before! Thanks to all speakers and attendees who will make also the 22nd conference in Valencia a super success!
