Why is Oracle BPM Suite 11g excellent? – read the latest Ovum report. And BPM suite becomes even better with the latest version of the ACM UI. The patch is controlled availability and you need to create an SR to get access! For more information about ACM including use-cases read the paper Managing Unpredictability using BPM for Adaptive Case Management. A great deom or quick start for BPM are the Process Accelerators.

Business persons who want to learn more about BPM I recommend you to watch the on-demand training by Avio. If you work on a SOA implementation make sure you read the post "A Roadmap for SOA Development and Delivery" by Mark Nelson. In case you need to integrate with standard applications or mainframes make sure you use the Adapters for Mainframe and Change Data Capture. SOA Suite can also integrate your on-premises with cloud or between clouds a White paper for Cloud Integration is available. On the SOA governance side a complete resource kit “Deliver on the promise of SOA with Governance is accessible.

Thanks to the partner community for the great articles on Oracle SOA Suite 11g: Consuming web service which enforce security policies on their WSDL files by Esentri and Oracle BPEL, retrieving the validate activity fault message by Eric Elzinga.

In the BPM section you can find two excellent posters one for Adaptive Case Management (ACM) in Practice and one for BPMN Poster for BPM Suite by Dan Atwood from Avio. For partners who want to get trained our BPM hands-on Workshops continues in UK, South Africa and Spain. If you can not attend the training, Niall will host two webcasts about BPM on December 2nd and ACM on November 25th 2013. Please make sure you attend the webcasts.

Ajay from our marketing team published the latest update from OOW and BPM marketing studies. The new BPM online Assessment is available now.  Thanks to the community for sharing the BPM Demo for Higher Education by Griffith Waite and Red Samurai for the Integrating Custom BPM Worklist into WebCenter Portal.

What is new in SOA Suite 12c? At OOW the product management team demonstrated some of the key features of the upcoming version. The important SOA topics are mobile integration and cloud integration – make sure you re-use your existing SOA platform!

Bruce Tierney showcased the Agilent mobile integration and you try the new Mobile Order Management for EBS GSE Demo using middleware technology. On cloud integration the product management team presented several OOW sessions and published two whitepapers. As SOA becomes mature the awareness for SOA Governance continues to raise, Introducing Oracle Enterprise Repository Express Workflows and watch Luis Weir: Challenges to Implementing SOA Governance. Thanks to Ronald for the SOA Made Simple | Introduction to SOA series, the next article in the Industrial SOA series is SOA and User Interfaces (UI).

Did you miss the super successful OFM Summer Camps III? Thanks to the community for all the feedback & tweets #OFMSummercamp. We posted the SOA Governance and b2b & adapters training material at our SOA Community Workspace (SOA Community membership required).

In addition to this we offer different middleware training roadshows for BPM & ADF & WebLogic across Europe make sure you sign-up for: ADF & ADF Mobile or BPM Suite or WebLogic Suite.

Why is Specialization important for Oracle middleware customer? And how can you benefit as a partner from Specialization? As a Specialized partner you proofed your middleware skills and success, therefore we are very interested to duplicate this success. Make sure that you make use of our join marketing kits like the new Fast Data Executive Round Table event kit. As part of the sales process, as a Specialized partner, you can also use the Oracle demo system.

We continue our Industrial SOA series with an article about Understanding Service Compensation. On the SOA side our product managed published a best practice deployment white paper and our partner C2B2 host a Performance & Scalability Webcast on September 19th. Within SOA cloud integration continues to raise, make sure you watch the cloud integration samples from Rajesh Raheja.

Thanks to the community for the MDS, OSB JMS Deployments Utility, BAM Deep Dive and SOA Governance Resource articles and materials.

In our BPM & ACRM section we continue to highlight the importance of process Process Accelerators to demo and jump start a BPM project. Thanks to Jan Zoggel for the blog posts about Force dehydration in BPM (do you remember from SOA?) and Debugging BPM. If you work on an BPM project, make sure you read these Oracle BPM 11g books. Let us know if you write one, feel free to add yours to our publications wiki!

What is Adaptive Case Management (ACM)? Watch the webcast with Bruce Silver on-demand. Please feel free to let us know if you work on an ACM opportunity, we will make sure that you get product management support.

All partners who work on Oracle Applications, make sure you participate in the AppAdvantage IT Leader Program. Fusion Middleware is the base for Oracle Fusion Applications – therefore it is key that you become trained in Fusion Middleware to customize, extend, integrate Oracle Applications.

We keep tradition, as I not plan to damage my knee this year, we will host our Fusion Middleware Partner Community Reception at Oracle Open World 2013 – space is limited so please register asap!

If you are planning to attend OOW, make sure you prepare your visit and below you’ll find some useful tips. Let us know if you like us to arrange 1:1 meeting with the product management or sales team, to discuss your large opportunities or projects. In combination with OOW 2013 we will also host our global SOA & BPM Partner Advisory Council IX, if you are a SOA guru and would like to attend, please feel free to let us know.

Partners are key in Fusion Middleware, therefore we make the latest sales kit available to you at the SOA Community Workspace (SOA Community membership required). The sales kits include the sales plays, cheat sheets, customer presentations and marketing kits. Please handle the material in the spirit of our partnership!

There is also an article published in the Service Technology Magazine from our Link Consulting team Promoting Organizational Visibility for SOA and SOA Governance Initiatives – Part I by Manuel Rosa and André Sampaio. I would also like to thanks to Ronald for sharing the Supporting multiple ebMS service versions in Oracle B2B and Edwin for the JAX-WS SOAP over JMS article. The global product management team – Simone at twitter made several resource kits on hot new SOA topics available Cloud Integration & SOA Governance & Fast Data & API Management. On the BPM side of the community, we collected all material on How to start with Oracle BPM Suite and thanks to Ajay Khanna from the global marketing team for the comprehensive BPM marketing overview. Case management for unstructured processes continues to be one of the hottest topics. Our ACE Director Torsten Winterberg blogged about the first draft of the Case Management Model and Notation (CMMN) and Mark Foster from the A-Team publishes a ACM series: ACM  In-Depth: Cases & Case Activities Part 1 – Acivity Scope & ACM In-Depth: Stakeholders & Permissions. Thanks to Niall Commiskey for the ongoing tips around BPM and the latest post BPM Parallel Multi Instance sub processes.

Fusion Applications is built based on Fusion Middleware. If you want to take Advantage of Fusion Middleware to customize and extend Fusion Applications and Applications like Siebel, Peoplesoft and E-Business suite make sure you learn and participate in the Oracle AppAdvantage for partners! To understand the stack make us of the Oracle Enterprise Architecture blueprint.
