This full day workshop will cover best practices on setting up successful API program and API strategy in the first part and on the new Oracle API Platform Cloud Service in second part. Purpose is to unveil new area of resell business, as well as system integration and implementation services available for Oracle Partner Network. At this moment of market lifecycle also consulting services.
Focus has shifted toward API programs and their fundamental role in the execution of digital strategies, which includes getting value out of the API economy. The best predictor of success is not just having APIs, but having them in the context of a properly managed and coordinated API program.

If you still contemplate how to take first API steps to adapt to the new competitive landscape – you’re not alone, However, it is important to get started. How to start easy, how to pick the most promising projects and structure for maximum reuse? What are the best practices? How to: avoid project-based mentality, ensure involvement of business and assembly of cross departmental team, focus on building quick prototypes, changes in funding, avoid focus on governance too early in an API program and start with a very short list of standards.
